GREATER TUNA COMES TO GARLAND CIVIC THEATRE

[ At right: Kyle McClaran as Thurstton Wheelis and Landon Starnes as Arles Struvie ]

Garland, Texas, February 23, 2010 — March 4 - 27, 2010 will bring "Greater Tuna" by Joe Sears, Jaston Williams and Ed Howard to Garland Civic Theatre. This is the hilarious comedy about one of Texas' smallest towns, Tuna, "Where the Lion's Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies". The ever madcap and funny citizens that make up this town are played by only two performers portraying men, women, children and animals. Come join us and laugh your worries away in this hysterically funny, country comedy!

Kyle McClaran, the theatre's Artistic Director, will portray several of the characters as he did in 1985 to fantastic reviews from all the Dallas newspapers of the time. He will also serve as the director of the production. Landon Starnes who is a newcomer to the DFW area will be the second performer. Joseph Cummings has designed the set and Mr. McClaran will again be the costumer.
