Events and people from the past plague a newlywed until she connects the clues and solves the mystery. We see memories of a past marriage, an accidental death (was it accidental?) and an annual ball with strange coincidences.Garland Civic Theatre to Present "Rebecca" Ticket and seating information GARLAND, TEXAS - Garland Civic Theatre will present Daphne Du Maurier’s famous mystery, Rebecca, which previews on January 13, 2005. The show opens on Friday, January 14 and continues Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8:00 PM through January 29. Matinee performances are scheduled at 2:00 PM January 22, 23, 29 and 30. All performances are in the small theatre of the Granville Arts Center, Fifth and Austin Streets in downtown Garland. The GCT Artistic Director, Kyle McClaran, will direct the production. Wade Giampa, who was given a Column Award for his Proposals set last season, will design the set. The multi-award winning costumers, Bill Bullard and Suzi Shankle will design the costumes. Theresa Clapper will design the lighting and the properties will be by Joseph Cummings. The Stage Manager is Linda Jones. An outstanding cast which includes Jennifer DeJohn Frawley as Beatrice Lacy, Todd Habercorn as Jack Favell, Norman F. Meullen as Colonel Julian, Bob Meyer as Frith, Elias Taylorson as Maxim de Winter, Kerry Thomas as Major Giles Lacy and William Tabb, Elizabeth Van Winkle as Mrs. De Winter, Midge Verhein as Mrs. Danvers, and Michael Wiseman as Frank Crawley has been assembled for this production. Mr. McClaran plans to present this production with the look of a black and white movie. Tickets are $19.00 to $22.00 and are available at the Granville Arts Center Box Office or by calling 972-205-2790. Please note that a service charge of $1.00 is added for each ticket. Garland Civic Theatre, a member of the Garland Chamber of Commerce, Dallas Theatre League, and Texas Non-profit Theatres, is enjoying its 37th season of theatre in Garland.
