Ten Little Indians

Agatha Christie weaves her magic spell in this famous murder mystery involving ten guests invited to a secluded island resort. One by one they are murdered, but by whom, and how, and why? Come solve the mystery!

GARLAND, TEXAS – Garland Civic Theatre has announced the cast for Ten Little Indians, a mystery play by Agatha Christie. Ten guests have gathered in a country house on a remote island. While the guests are assembled for cocktails, a voice comes out of the air, accusing everyone present of murder. And while they are exchanging data on themselves and their host, who has sent word that he will not be down until the next day, one of ten little Indian statuettes topples off the mantelpiece and breaks. Immediately thereafter a guest chokes to death of cyanide of potassium which some one has dropped into his drink. That is one down and nine to go.

The actors are Elias Taylorson as Philip Lombard, Jana McGill as Vera Claythorne, Peter Ray as Sir Lawrence Wargrave, Jerry Young as Rogers, Celeste Rogers as Mrs. Rogers, Bob Downs as General Mackenzie, Jean Holmes as Emily Brent, Amanda Wright as Anthonette Marston, Michael Wiseman as William Blore, and George Guillot, Jr. as Dr. Armstrong.

The GCT Artistic Director, Kyle McClaran, will direct the production. Jim Cox will design the set, Bill Bullard and Suzi Shankle will design the costumes, and Theresa Clapper will design the lighting.

Performances will be October 14 through October 31 in the small theatre at Granville Arts Center, Austin and Fifth Street, Garland, Texas.
