Auditions for Garland Civic Theatre (GCT) Mainstage and Children On Stage (COS) are usually on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the GCT offices. Auditions for plays are usually a cold reading.

Auditions for a musical are usually a cold reading and you will be asked to have both an upbeat song and a ballad prepared. An accompanist is provided but you must bring sheet music in the key you prefer. Your vocal selections may be limited to a verse of a few measures. For shows with dance, you may be asked to dance at the audition or a separate dance call may be set.
